The lake is located on the eastern edge of Malente's city center and offers numerous opportunities for vacationers in Holstein Switzerland. Both leisurely and sporting activities can be enjoyed on and around Kellersee. It is fed by the Schwentine River, the Malenter Au, and the floodplain of Ukleisee. The second-largest lake in the Holstein Lake District also borders the residential town of Eutin to the south and east, which, with its impressive castle and historic town center, is also worth a visit. Outside of the cities, you can enjoy the region's extraordinary landscape on the shores of Kellersee and often enjoy undisturbed nature walks.
