The Waldhaus private brewery is based in the homonymous village Waldhaus, a district of Weilheim in the Hotzenwald, around 800 meters above sea level. It was founded in 1833 and is still privately owned. The brewery has an annual output of around 100,000 hl. Attached to it are an inn with a beer garden.
