    While there is usually only a footpath following the original line of King Offa's ancient earthworks, on some sections a bridle path runs alongside it (or on top of it!), allowing you marvel at this feat of Anglo-Saxon engineering. running for some 285km from Prestatyn to Sedbury near Chepstow. Some sections are all but invisible, but on others the dyke still towers up to 3m over the path
