Cycling

Between the Ems-Sperrweg and shortly before Leer you have to ride along the relatively busy road on good bike paths. The path directly on the dike was closed during our tour because sheep grazed everywhere. In between there are small highlights and places where you can look over the Ems dike, so this section offers a little variety.

Unfortunately it was not possible for us to drive there because all the gates on the dike were always closed.
Therefore, the route from Leer to Emden on the busy main road is not recommended!
