Staffelalm

The photo does not show the Staffelalm, even if it is on the way to the Staffel. The Staffelalm is located on the Rabenkopf near Kochel and looks completely different.

The Staffelalm (Staffelalm-Hochleger) with the Staffelhütte, located at approx. 1405m, is an Eldorado for alpine flowers in late spring / early summer. In addition to tons of globeflowers, there are also Clusius gentians and flour primroses to marvel at. The Alm a little south of the summit does not have any tourist catering facilities, but it can score with views of the Karwendel and Sylvenstein reservoirs. Although the nearby summit is not as overrun as the Jochberg, it can get quite crowded there, so the Alm is a good alternative. Just bring a snack 🥨🧀🍎 from home and enjoy a little time in this beautiful area.

Excellent place to "make a snack" 🥨🍺. It's not far to the summit, but the relay is usually a bit tight.
