Spidsbjerg udsigt

At 19 m not exactly a "giant" height, but you still have a great view of the dunes of Sønderland from Spidsberg.
On the horizon you can see the sea, in all other directions the Kirkeby plantation, Vråby plantation and dunes, dunes, dunes.

At 18 meters above sea level, Spidsbjerg is the highest point on Rømø. Even if that does not sound really impressive, the view over the dune and heath landscape is spectacular! 😍

Later, a narrow path leads along the dunes. Also from there you can admire the beautiful landscape.

Rømø's best view is from the "mountain" Spidsbjerg in the Kirkeby plantation. Through the heath you can easily go up the 50 wooden steps to Rømø's highest point, and if you get dizzy on the 19 m high hill, it is only because of the fantastic view over a parabolic dune that fades westwards to Slagtebænken and the sea. To the south you have a view of the town of Havneby, the ferry and Sylt. Looking north over the Kirkeby plantation to the Rømø dam and when the weather is clear you can see Esbjerg on the horizon.
