This cozy half-timbered house only served as a parsonage for a short time and thus has an interesting history. The Weser Renaissance ornaments and the large Deelentor, which indicate that it was used as a farmer's house, are striking. The house is within sight of the church.

Every pastor had to secure his livelihood with his own farm, true to the motto "Help yourself and God will help you."

The half-timbered house served as a parsonage only for a relatively short time, but is significant for the parish and the townscape.

It was built in 1654 by pastor Georg Dreckmann and his gatting Catharina Elsabein Sandhagen from a traditional pastor family. Her great-grandfather introduced the Reformation in Borgholzhausen around 1535 and her father founded the first school in the village. She herself became the ancestress of the widely ramified pastor family Drechmann and Löning. The large Deelentor reminds that this was a farmhouse. Every pastor had to make a living with his own farming.
