The lake is the northeastern bathing lake of Saxony. It has a depth of about 13-15 meters. For comfort in the overnight stays of tourists provide six flat-roof bungalows and a villa. In 2009, the grounds of the Waldsee were completely redesigned. A new volleyball facility, a new bowling alley, as well as a new outdoor table tennis table invite for sporting activities.
