The Rakotz Bridge is a free-span arched bridge that was built in the 19th century by the manor owner Herrmann Friedrich Roetschke. Its semicircle is reflected in the lake and thus visually forms a complete circle. The basalt columns arranged in the lake are called organs.

The garden architecture staged as the Devil's Bridge is part of the Rakotz ensemble initiated by Roetschke during the same construction period, consisting of the Rakotz Bridge, a grotto, the basalt organ in the Rakotz Lake and the small wild water with the small Devil's Bridge. The bridge, which was at high risk of collapse, was fundamentally renovated and restored between 2018 and 2021.
