There the vertical shaft was installed as the centerpiece of the most important relic of the Liebenburg post mill, which was destroyed by fire in 2012.
A notice board provides information about the technology and functionality of the post mill and from here a hike to the former location of the mill in the Liebenburger Feldmark can be undertaken.
