The ruined tower Sarmingstein is the remainder of a bastion plant in the district Sarmingstein of St. Nikola on the Danube in the district Perg, Upper Austria, with which the built at the beginning of the 16th century Hauderer Street and the Danube were monitored. The still existing round tower was built in 1488 on behalf of Emperor Frederick III. built by the brothers Prueschenk.
