Kronwinkl Castle

Kronwinkl Castle, also known as Alten-Preysing, is a castle located in the municipality of Eching (Landshut district) on the high bank of the Isar. It is the ancestral castle of the Preysing family. The keep dates back to the time when the castle was built, in the 12th/13th century. Kronwinkl Castle has been owned by the Preysing family since it was built. The residential buildings were built in the 16th/17th century on the Gothic ring wall. The current owner is Christoph Graf von Preysing-Lichtenegg-Moos.
