Tips
You should be sure-footed and have a good head for heights to climb the stair stone yourself. The detour is definitely worth it because of the view. The stamp office is opposite the cliff by the bank.

Here the path leads over a few steps between railings up to the top of the rock. From there you can see the student cliffs and the lower massifs of the staircase group. The path is not really exposed.

A fabulous view of the Okertal and interesting rock steps make up the appeal of this rock. A little surefootedness is required - but to overcome the fear of heights is worthwhile!
