The Löschemer chapel is a 300-year-old cultural monument, above Wasserliesch on the Liescher Berg at an altitude of 340 meters above sea level.
The chapel is a popular Marian pilgrimage site and the end of the Way of the Cross with 14 stations. 200 m above the Moselle valley, there is a magnificent panoramic view down to the Mosel and Saartal, to the town of Igel, over the Saarmündung and the city of Konz to Trier and beyond.
