    MacDonald Trail leads roughly North-South from the southern end of Redwood Regional Park along the center spine of Anthony Chabot Regional Park, a regional park in Oakland, California. It covers 5,067 acres in the San Leandro Hills adjacent to Oakland, San Leandro and Castro Valley.
