The landmark was broken in 1729. A year later, a new one was set up and inaugurated for the first time with the planking of virgins. This is how the boundary stone got its name. The girls were laid over the boundary stone and gently stroked three times over the back by the picket with the pickup. Four daughters from a good family, namely the daughter of the Palatinate forest master, the daughter of the cellar of Hohenecken, the daughter of Dr. Martin and the daughter of the reformed pastor of Einöllen were the first to be ridden on the Jungfernstein.

The Kaiserslautern coat of arms is carved on one side of the Jungfernstein and the Wolfsangel on the other. The latter is the symbol of the collegiate forest, that is, the sign of the collegiate church that was once a Premonstratensian monastery. The year 1729, 1786 and 1953 are engraved on a third page.
