Location: Tirpersdorf, Vogtlandkreis, Vogtland, Saxony, Germany
You can still see it today: the Tirpersdorf community was founded around its church. This was already in the 12th century and served the Plauen monks as a pilgrimage destination. Elements from this period have been preserved in the front part of the church, such as the Romanesque window on the south side and a Romanesque cross as a wall painting. In 1868 the church was extensively renovated and rebuilt. It is still the center of the town today. (Source: Ev.-Luth. Parish of St. Jacobus in the Vogtland)

Somewhat hidden, but very nicely located on a pond in the middle of the village.
