The Col de Pinpinier, at an altitude of 1,136 meters, is a remarkable passage in the Gironde valley: it connects the great Clue d'Aiglun and Roquestéron. Very little frequented, it's a great discovery.

The Col de Pinpinier is an exceptionally lonely pass in the Gironde valley. A scenically very attractive valley. It connects the great Clue d'Aiglun either with the Col de Bleine or you return to the Estéron near St-Auban.
Curiously, despite the complete seclusion, runs parallel to the pass road further down the valley an alternative route. But you should choose the higher altitude variant of said Col de Pinpinier, it offers more beautiful views. The whole route from the lower Var valley to the Col de Pinpinier is very worthwhile.
