The MesseTurm is a skyscraper with a height of 256.5 meters and the second highest skyscraper in Frankfurt. The skyscraper was designed by Helmut Jahn for the American project developer Tishman Speyer. The MesseTurm is not accessible to visitors and has a striking pyramid on the roof. There are no usable areas in the pyramid, only utilities such as heating and cooling. The design of the top of the building goes back to the first draft for the roof pyramid of the Campanile skyscraper, which was never built. The MesseTurm was built in 1990 in the Art Deco architectural style. The floor space is just 41 x 41 meters. In the middle of the building is the elevator shaft with 24 elevators and space for the service core. Due to the arrangement of the elevators in the middle of the building, users are only left with a ring of 8.30 to 8.60 meters depth.
