The Eninger Weide hiking lodge offers hikers and day-trippers the opportunity to rest, stop off and stay overnight.

It has a guest room for around 70 guests and a lounge for smaller meetings for around 30 people.

The 37 beds/camps can be booked as a stopover for hikes or for school classes and groups for the weekend.

Hiking

The modern, spacious hiking lodge was built between 1972 and 1975 by the Eningen unter Achalm local group under the leadership of its chairman, Hans Schenk, not far from the Swabian Alb North Rim Trail and close to the Albtrauf ridge. The hiking lodge is situated in a diverse landscape on the Alb plateau, with forests, meadows, and tree-lined avenues. A barbecue area and playground were set up directly next to the hiking lodge. A game reserve and a large playground with several barbecue areas are nearby.
