The cave entrance has a height of four meters and is eight meters wide. The main hall, which has an inside height of eight and a width of 15 meters, branches into several dead arms after a length of about 100 meters. One of these side arms ends after about 200 meters before a break.

The Feldhofhöhle expects a sudden after a curve. It is very big and you should take a flashlight to explore, so you do not end up in the dark. A very interesting historical place.

Large cave entrance, which gets narrower as you venture further into the dark cave. Flashlight is doing hardship!

A cave where you can really play the discoverer. In the back it gets wonderfully narrow and dark!

The parking lot at the starting point is relatively small, another possibility to start the tour would be here:
    Glashüttenweg 8
    58802 Balve
    Have fun =)

This is a well-preserved hilltop castle. Located on a 60 meter cliff. The castle belongs to the city of Hemer.

Between Hönne, Menden and Balve the Hönne cuts through a limestone plateau, which reaches heights between 230 and 310m above sea level. Here, the Hönne has dug a partially up to 60m deep valley in the limestone. The Hönnetal is known for its impressive rocks and numerous caves, some of which also served as cultural caves.
The Friedrichshöhle is located on the left side of the valley in the immediate vicinity of the Feldhof and tunnel cave. The three caves belong to a large cave system, of which only a small part is unfortunately discovered to this day. The caves are located at the northern exit of the Binhol railway tunnel and have been partially discovered during the construction of the same.

Nice cave. Take flashlights with you. It goes in a bit. Be sure-footed. The floor is uneven and full of pebbles.
