From the Hammersbach hiking car park, the entrance hut is at about 1,045 meters. The walk there takes about 60 to 90 minutes. The entrance fee to the gorge includes a visit to the museum in the gorge.

The Höllentalklamm near Grainau, district Hammersbach, is a real experience. It goes quite uphill before reaching the entrance of the gorge. Through the unique gorge with its many waterfalls, small tunnels and corridors that are lit, the nature lover will find an unforgettable natural spectacle. In the snow-free time around mid-May to late October, the gorge is open 24 hours a day. Please do not forget the appropriate clothing, because it is a pretty wet matter in the gorge and even in summer the temperatures are sometimes cool. The Höllentalanger hut at 1387 m altitude then invites you to stop. You can also spend the night here and there are drying rooms for your clothes if it gets too wet. From the Höllentalangerhütte further climbs such. on the Alpspitze or the Matheisenkar or even on the Zugspitze möglich.Der entry into the Höllentalklamm currently costs: For DAV members adults: € 2.00
