Large and modern mountain hut on the Kreuzeck and thus in the immediate vicinity of the Wetterstein massif and the Zugspitze. In the Alpenvereinshütte there are over 60 beds in rooms and a further 43 in the dormitory.

The hosts there are super nice, a stop is definitely recommended.Unfortunately, the house is very crowded and built up due to its close proximity to the Kreuzeckbahn mountain station and especially now in winter with the many ski slopes all around.The overnight prices there are fair, but the rooms (at least the one we got) unfortunately do not have a view worth mentioning.
