The Jewish Museum Westphalia in Dorsten shows in its exhibition the religion and culture of the Jews in Germany and in particular the history of Judaism in Westphalia. In addition to guided tours, the museum regularly offers events of various kinds: lectures, readings, concerts, workshops, training courses. A large reference library and a small bookshop are also part of the offer. In 2013/2014 the museum was temporarily classified as endangered in the Red List of Culture by the German Cultural Council
