La Maison des Chorchilles, refers to the sorcières (witches) of Ellezelles. The artist Jos De Smedt lives here, who uses his chainsaw to bring all sorts of strange figures to life. The other name of the house is El Bërjî, which is local Walloon for Le Berger or the shepherd. This refers to a former resident of the strange house.
