There was a bicycle-incompatible gate between the woodland and meadow parts incl. faded "no bicycles" sign, although it appears to be a bridleway.

Absolutely epic downhill decent. Keep to the middle, watch out for large obstacles and the tree which you have to duck under. The terrain is quite chunky but it does help you slow down where you need to in some places.
Once you get past the first part it drops into harder terrain where you can pick up a lot speed and it can get quite narrow in some parts.
Overall its a very quick run and lots of fun!
