    Hiking

Hard climbing to get to the top. It would be an easy via ferrata in the Alps

    Hiking

It takes a bit of scrambling to get to the top but it's not exposed for the most part. The view is worth the climb!

We did the loop from Hansons Peak via the Face Track to Wombat Pool and thought we might do Cradle Mt Peak. We decided against it and that was a good thing. The climb to Hansons Peak and the Face Track is not without its problems (very rocky with some climbing) and the whole round just takes quite a long time without the Cradle Mt Peak. But the round is great over Hansons Peak! It's best to end the loop towards Randy Creek instead of back to Dove Lake. Randy Creek is teeming with wombats.
