Seefeld Castle

The Seefeld-Kadolz Castle was originally an old Kuenring seat with a moated castle. The castle was built in the short time of only 5 years (1710-1715).Comprehensive renovation work since 1992 gives the castle the outstanding structural and historical positioning in the Pulkau valley.Today the castle is used by Maximilian Hardegg and his family as an exclusively private residential building, which is a great challenge for the castle owner. In keeping with the architectural design of the house, the castle is opened by the owner for exclusive events to increase the cultural value of the wine district.

Private property, no visit possible.

Beautiful castle complex, but privately owned. Therefore, visits are normally not possible. Unfortunately, the property is also very overgrown in summer, so you can hardly catch a glimpse of it from the outside.
