The Höhfeldplatte nature reserve is about two kilometers south-east of Thüngersheim and south of the road to Güntersleben. It consists of two parts and you can see mainly dry grassland with a sparse population of pine trees. The larger northern part of the nature reserve is bordered to the east by a quarry.
