The castle Wachendorf was probably built around the time of 1780 and rebuilt several times.
In the period between about 1970 and 1980 it was used as a girls' boarding school.
After that, it became a Buddhist Education Center and was used as such for a few years.
Some rooms on the ground floor were then used for dining.
In 2014, the castle was extensively renovated. Now the lord of the castle lives in the castle.
Furthermore, rooms are rented for celebrations, such as weddings etc. There is also a registry office at Schloss Wachendorf.
The castle itself can not be visited but you can visit the building during a tour of the park from the outside.

What is meant here is the Wachendorf castle.
Having once belonged to the manor, it has had various functions in the recent past. It was used as a boarding school for late repatriates or later as a Buddhist education center.
Now it is available at weddings. Only who dares.

Either this is the St. Petrus chapel or Wachendorf castle. However, this has already been described in another highlight and so I will limit myself to the chapel.
