Lac de la Sassière and its placid turquoise waters is a dam lake dug at 2,460 meters in the eponymous nature reserve.
Cherished by families during summer walks, the lake is also one of the favorite places of marmots on sunny days. If during your walk you hear whistling, don't be surprised: the groundhogs have probably spotted you.
