The municipality includes Rossa and, since 1982, the previously independent municipalities of Augio and Santa Domenica. Further back in the valley lies the district of Valbella and the district of Scandalasc, which also belong to Rossa. Rossa is the furthest village in the Calanca Valley and the last post bus stop.
From Rossa in the idyllic Calanca Valley, a new walking path leads to three historic chapels with modern and abstract motifs on the outside walls.
