The outer pentagonal residential tower (keep) with three storeys has a rectangular ground plan inside. The second and third floor each contain a vaulted living room with a circular stone bench and fireplace, whose smoke vents unite below the roof. To the left and right of the chimney there is a niche in each case. The floors are connected by stairs built into the wall. On the west side is a continuous Abortschacht, each with a seating niche per floor. Access to the tower was via a high entrance on the west wall, which led directly to the second floor. The ground floor served as a cistern.
