Tips
Under Count Otto von Nassau-Dillenburg (1247 - 1289) the first church, a small rectangular building with a square choir, was built in the village "Veltbach". Until 1491 it was the parish church for Dillenburg. The surviving remains of the choir date from the middle of the 15th century.
