Imposing rock wall - relic of the basalt mining
unfortunately I could not determine until when the basalt quarry was in operation.
In the area there are still some (industrial) relics of the mining, including a brick portal with several steel doors, which probably served as an entrance to the mountain, as well as quite overgrown (concrete) constructions on the edge of hiking trail 1 towards the country roadtranslated by
