Opposite the demolished Puchsteg, the new bridge is considerably wider and thus offers pedestrians and cyclists ample space in both directions.
Those with a romantic disposition will see a beautiful recreational facility in the dammed-up Mur river with its reduced flow speed - those who remember this section from before will miss the large trees along the bank with their pleasant shade on hot summer days.
In the area of the bridge, there are various seating options (made of "stylish" concrete) as well as a boat rental, a snack bar, and a toilet facility.
