Compared to the demolished Puchsteg, the new bridge is considerably wider and therefore offers pedestrians and cyclists enough space in both directions.
If you are romantically inclined, you will see a beautiful leisure facility in the city in the dammed Mur with its reduced flow speed - if you know this section from earlier, you will miss the large trees along the shore with their pleasant shade on hot summer days.In the area of the bridge there are various seating options (made of "stylish" concrete) as well as a boat rental and a snack bar as well as a toilet facility.There are drinking fountains on the left bank of the Mur around 500m before and after the bridge.Bathing is not advised, as the water quality required for this cannot be guaranteed - a corresponding note can also be found on the system's rules of use!

Nice wide bridge for bicycles and pedestrians

Bridge with enough space for two side by side bikes and a pedestrian. Close to the bridge there is a city beach bar called Fluss Fluss. Prices are ok. There is a public toilet and a drinking water tap installed by the city. Would not recommend swimming at this location as the water is often smelly and has debris flowing down.
