    In order to reach this highlight section, I recommend to start at the Bürgerreuth, Hohe Warte at the Siegesturm and walk or cycle along the Markgrafenweg. At the end of the highlight, at Hochtheta is an excellent restaurant, great for snack or Cappuccino with cake to move;).
    The Markgrafenweg to Hochtheta or far beyond (he goes to Plassenburg Kulmbach) is wonderful in all seasons;
    In the spring the flowering of the trees and the fresh scent the mossy aroma in the air in addition, incomparably beautiful.
    In the summer always protected by the trees, in the shade cycling or hiking, fresh the scent and pleasantly cool, here and there blooming and fragrant flowers. Even the mushroom pickers will find it here.
    In autumn, when the leaves fall, this beautiful idyll in the mixed forest is simply beautiful when the foliage falls and the sun's rays shining golden on the leaves and branches.
    But even in winter pure joy, the temperatures are usually milder than in the heights of the Fichtelgebirge and the trails can be well wander in snow or overcome with `n Bike. There are always new tracks to discover in the snow, deer and foxes are also not uncommon.
    Good and have fun exploring the Markgrafenweg ...

    The trail meanders along the width of a towel and on gentle coniferous soil, always along the top of the Kühnleite.
    Most of it is easy to drive, you only have to negotiate a small driveway once. The flat height profile means you can really accelerate and have a nice flow experience. Can be driven in both directions and can be easily combined with other trails:
    Once through Theta you can still attach the "great pine forest trail" to the Pechgraben sand pit. In the other direction take the "Trail towards Bach", which crosses the Crottenbach and takes you towards the Siegesturm / Hohe Warte.

    One of the most beautiful trails around Bayreuth. Technically less demanding, but easy to enjoy.
