Klingender Wasserfall

Even if many of the pictures show the frozen waterfall - even in summer, especially after rain, the watercourse is worth seeing. And if you are very still, you can understand the name of the waterfall!

The "Klingende Wasserfall" near Haimendorf is not only worth seeing in winter when it is frozen. Together with the Hüttenbach Gorge, this natural monument is absolutely recommended as a starting point. The waterfall has a fall height of about 5 meters and is designated as geotope 574R011 by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment.

Very nice in winter and the kids are sure to have fun in summer too. Be careful, you might get wet 😁.

In summer the waterfall has hardly any water and is not worth it for my taste, except after a start rain or similar. but super nice in winter when there is frost.

Definitely worth a trip in winter with heavy frost when it is frozen. Looks like the icicles hanging down the stone. Descent to the waterfall with snow and ice a bit slippery but manageable

Unfortunately, there is no rest bench here to stay longer.
A rest bench is located a few hundred meters away near the hiking highlight "Spratzelbrunnen"

Can be combined well on a tour to Moritzberg.

Nice waterfall, if you go on the tour you should first turn left so that you have the waterfall as the highlight at the end. But it can be very muddy. We didn't have that much water, but still a nice place.

Nice for hiking and the small waterfall at the end of the tour is great.
