Free cycling is not permitted on the Molecaten estate. Only on cycle paths and the MTB route is this permitted. Although the southern part of this segment is still along a cycle path, the ban unfortunately applies to the attractive wide gravel road in the north of this highlight (north of the country house).

Cool gravel strip over the Wachtelenberg, past Huize Molecaten and over the slightly ascending Koeweg towards the Leemcule. Nice wide strips. Watch out for walkers and on the Koeweg for cars of the residents (=destination traffic).
