Spiez Castle, located on the shores of Lake Thun in the canton of Bern, originally dates from after 1200 and was home to several influential families throughout its history, first the Barons von Strättligen, then the von Bubenberg family and later the von Erlach family until 1875 Since 1927, the castle has been owned by the Spiez Castle Foundation and serves as a museum for the public.

Spiez Castle is a castle in Spiez on Lake Thun in the Swiss canton of Bern. The striking tower was often interpreted as a keep, but it was actually a residential tower. It was created after 1200 on a construction train. In the late 13th century, a multi-storey residential wing was added to the north.
