The Lohnder Kiesteich is located on the outskirts of Lohnde in the Leine floodplain. At the quarry lake, which is fed by groundwater, there is a natural entrance to the lake for swimming. The park around the lake is mainly used for recreation. Entry to the lake grounds is free. There is no parking at the lake. Fishing is not permitted there. The local diving club has permission to dive there. There is no lifeguard. Swim at your own risk!
