Trévoux is worth the visit for sure. Its maze of narrow streets, its flights of steps and ancient buildings, its partly ruined castle at the top, they all make its uniqueness.

Once you crossed this iconic suspension bridge reserved for bikes and pedestrians, you enter the charming old town of Trévoux, which is likewise better explored unmotorized. You can amble through the small streets and stairways to the massive cathedral and up to the castle, which offers a great overview of town and the river valley.
