    Combe Gibbet is also referred to as Inkpen Beacon on various WW signposts.
    Gets technical at the back of Beacon Hill due to some deep ruts you or that your peddles can get stuck in. West to East is 'easier' as it feels mainly down hill pre-A34...but to get to it involves big hills!
    A34 is bad so the permitted detour is worth the extra time (10-15mins?) to save getting squashed.
