"... The Holemans Kieswerk Ellerdonk is a high-tech industrial plant of the most modern design. Gravel and sand from the surrounding extraction sites are processed here for further processing in the building materials industry.

The Ellerdonk gravel plant consists of two connected plant areas, which are located on both sides of the Drögenkamp in Wesel-Bislich. Behind the Rhine dike is one of the most modern processing plants in Europe - directly connected to it are sand processing, 14 sand silos and a loading station for ships on the Rhine side. Further west is a silo and truck loading facility completed in 2017. It is connected to Bislicher Strasse (K 7), through which heavy goods traffic arrives and departs. ..."
