The Grenzweg Trail (S2) - near Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach and the »Kleine Kinzig« reservoir.
On this trail you drive about 6.5 km at a time on the border between Baden and Württemberg. You almost always drive right past the many old boundary stones. Most of the time on the Baden side and now and then on the Swabian side. The trail is demanding and narrow in places (guarantee of contact with the plants on the right and left). But it's really fun. Firstly, because it is so long, you are almost always in the dense forest (especially pleasant in midsummer) and it almost only runs on the plateau.
The trail is described in Kommot as "contains a section where cycling is prohibited". There is no warning on site. It is officially signposted as a hiking trail. It is best to drive it during the week in the late afternoon. Because there are probably a lot of hikers walking this path on weekends or public holidays and the many narrow passages could make it difficult to get past each other. Anger can be inevitable.
