Very beautiful church of rubble from the many quarries nearby. Often used for wedding ceremonies.

Evgl. Church WiblingwerdeThe church game Wiblingwerde was founded around 1000 and belonged to the deanery Lüdenscheid. For a long time, it was subject to the Georg-Stift in Cologne paying interest and tax. The present church was built in late Romanesque style in the first half of the 13th century. The small two-bay and three-nave hall church is a characteristic church building of the Sauerland. The church has a Romanesque baptismal font. The patron saint of John the Baptist points out that Wiblingwerde was a major Christian baptismal site and thus a very ancient and important pastorate. Since 1582, the parish has been reformed Protestant.
