How cool would a slide be here 😂

One of the easier stairs. Difficulties in the middle and by long-lasting wetness, even in the summer months may be tricky. Surefootedness required. Only for experienced. Very rewarding.

This path lives up to its name. Great natural path. The often read comparison with the Amazon might be correct. Watch out for the actually always wet stones and stirrups. (Slipping danger with bad footwear very high)

Looks easier than the way is. The difficulties wait in the middle and are sometimes tricky because of the long-lasting wetness. Surefootedness required.

The Wild Hell is a wildly romantic and adventurous staircase through a narrow, lush green gorge. It starts on the Unteren Affensteinweg as a simple, slightly ascending hiking trail. Only at the foot of the monkey stones does it become a staircase. The sure-footed hiker can reach the Obere Affensteinweg and z. B. continue to Carolafelsen. The help of the hands is necessary in many places. This staircase should be an experience for fairly sporty hikers with non-slip footwear.

The "Wild Hell" is one of the easier victories in the Saxon. Switzerland. Nice to have !!! To handle M. E. with a preschooler and with the help of an adult even without problems. With our children "we" have to plan the stairs again and again, otherwise disappointment spreads.

The section of the route is rightly named and makes you want more. Be careful when it rains.

Fun for kids and grown-ups. But still be careful if it rained. Holding devices are well available.

For the experienced. Defused at the tricky spots with iron clips. But be careful, often wet gorge even in summer.

At the top of Wild Hell is the turnoff to the Carolafelsen. You should not miss the view.

Very beautiful and wild section from the Carolafelsen downhill. Please do not underestimate difficult terrain and wet and snow!

Great descent from the Carolafelsen north. The route is not very steep but impassable, therefore also secured at the critical points. North descent, therefore shady and more likely to be damp.

The Wild Hell is probably the most famous staircase in the Saxon Switzerland (and therefore full on the WE). Relatively easy to walk in both directions and therefore also suitable for families (smaller children may need a helmet).

Well developed and safe stairs. Also suitable for children. Often overflowed. My recommendation: Coming down from the Carolafelsen descend the wild hell.

As an alternative to the Häntzschelstiegen with only a short piece of iron stairs, it is quite accessible. Nevertheless, one should not underestimate the 340m altitude ...
