It's definitely worth stopping here to watch the comings and goings. Everyone is having a great time. There's something to eat or drink on either side. And, not unimportantly, there's also a public restroom, and it's very clean!

I started on my tour from Alzey and took the ferry in Nierstein - from there I went over the Ried am Kühkopf towards Gernsheim. You can take a nice break at the ferry in Gernsheim and have a cool blond drink and something to eat, for example. I think that's a real highlight. Then I took the ferry and headed home. It was a very nice tour.
