Pfeiferhütte

The Pfeiferhütte is located in the middle of the forest and is a popular destination in this part of the Stromberg.
There is a covered barbecue and numerous benches with tables. In the hut itself you will find more seating. The Pfeifferhütte is therefore ideal for a long rest.

The first Pfeiferhütte, which was built by Forstmeister Caspar Pfeifer, stood here already in 1583.

The Pfeifferhütte is a popular excursion destination. In addition to a barbecue area with several tables and benches benches and tables are also weatherproof in the open hut. A blackboard informs about the fact that the Pfeifferhütte was mentioned for the first time already in 1583 and derives its name from Forstmeister Caspar Pfeiffer. It served as a refuge for hunters and forest workers.

At this point there are many hiking trails from different directions (e.g. Bönnigheim, Cleebronn, Hohenhaslach, Sternenfels, Freudental).
There are other highlights in the immediate vicinity: e.g. antiquity, the Wolfsstein or a little further away the Michaelsberg.

Mentioned for the first time in 1583, the Pfeiferhütte goes back to the forest master Caspar Pfeifer, who had it built to protect the hunting guests and forest workers.
The current hut was built in 1953.
