Church Reinkenhagen
The emergence of the late Gothic Reinkenhäger church is mentioned in connection with an altar donation for the first time around 1300. The construction of the rectangular two-bay choir and the original three-aisled vestibule with a sacristy began with irregular boulders and was completed in a second construction phase with brick tiles. Above the western, separated in the 15th century yoke of the nave was built a truss tower, which was renovated in 1914 and massively built. The small all-brick porch in front of the southern choir portal offers a particularly beautiful eye-catcher. Its interior is provided with a pointed arched barrel vault, which opens to the outside by an arched double arcade, which is supported by a round column. The ascending frieze formed from dark green glazed shaped stones with cloverleaf arches is an extremely rare decorative element.
